What We Believe

• The grace of God is available to every person through faith in Jesus Christ.
• The Bible is God's Word of faith, hope and love for us.
• Christian community is forged most vitally through worship and sharing in Holy Communion.
• The Gospel calls the Church to heal the world, meeting the spiritual and physical needs of God's people and working to shape a society of justice and peace.
• God calls every person to serve through their work and relationships.
• We are equal partners in the work of the Gospel.

Lutherans strive to live faithfully, not only as members of the church, but as disciples of Christ: Christians are called to forget the self and work for Christ.

God wants all people to be involved in studying and applying the Word of God in order to become faithful disciples - loving God, serving God and humanity, and living a meaningful life.
